GWDS podcast started in 2019 as a passion project between friends, Joe Woolworth and Josh Manning. The idea was simple, get unstuck, tell a better story, and have a good answer to the question “What are you doing today?”
Our podcast is about inspiration, encouragement, and sharing what we are learning with business leaders, entrepreneurs, and adventurers. We have the privilege of talking with local business leaders, visionaries, authors, pastors, friends and more!

So we quickly assembled a studio and got started (I think it was two days after the idea. Why? Because it’s guys who do stuff, not guys who talk about doing stuff.
The Hosts
Josh Manning
Josh is a Cary based multi-media artist, North Carolina native, and Alumnus of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Josh’s passion for art & commerce includes producing a variety of conceptual films and photography for companies ranging from IBM to La Farm Bakery.
Joe Woolworth
Hi, I’m Joe. I am originally from Michigan, married to Lori and have two teenage daughters and a couple of noisy dogs. I worked as an Executive Creative Director at a large non-profit in the Triangle for eight years. In that role, I had the privilege to lead and learn with some of the most creative people in the Triangle. Currently, I love to tell stories. I help business owners grow their companies I love hearing people’s story and how it connects to their work.
